We are a nonprofit community theatre, run entirely by volunteers, in the middle of Mitchell Street. Here, teenagers find their voice, retirees find their spotlight, and whole families find their people — one production at a time.
Waiting for curtain-up
Nambour Lind Lane Theatre Incorporated is a registered Australian charity that gives the youth and adults of our region a place to make, learn and share live theatre — performing on stage or volunteering behind it — and lends our venue to other organisations and charities for their own fundraising.
No one here is paid. Every ticket sold keeps the lights warm for the next generation of performers, and every production is built by the community it entertains.
Since 1996 we've given the Sunshine Coast hinterland a creative home. Nervous first-time auditionees stand beside seasoned set carpenters here, and both matter just as much. No auditions for belonging: if you want to be part of it, you already are.
The whole company
Our acting classes and youth drama program teach far more than lines — lighting, stage management, scenic art, and the quiet courage of opening night. Young people leave with skills that carry into every future pursuit, theatrical or otherwise.
The next generation
We proudly host youth drama festivals, giving school students and young ensembles from across the region a real stage, real lights, and a real audience — often for the very first time.

Community theatre should pay its luck forward. We make our Mitchell Street venue available to other organisations and charities for their own fundraising events — because a warm room, a working lighting rig and an audience that cares can change what a small cause believes is possible.
