Our season opener, made by and for this town: a fast, warm-hearted farce about a dinner party that goes wonderfully wrong when a local medium is invited along for "research". Expect slamming doors, suspicious trifle, and at least one ghost with impeccable comic timing.

Mainstage comedy
A week of original one-act plays written and performed by young people aged 12 to 18 from schools and ensembles across the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Raw, brave and completely unmissable — for many of these performers, it's their first real stage, real lights and real applause.
June 2026 · Festival passes & single nights
Ages 12–18 take the stage
We close the year the way we live it — together. An evening of short plays, music and laughter, ending with our annual thank-you to the volunteers who sew, saw, prompt, pour and hold the whole building up.

Community gala
No apps, no booking fees, no account passwords. Email the theatre, tell us the night and the number of seats, and we'll hold them at the door.
Part of our registered charity purpose is making our venue available to other organisations and charities for their own fundraising events. Trivia nights, concerts, award evenings, film screenings — if it helps a good cause, our door is open.
An intimate theatre with stage, seating, lighting rig and a warm buzz you can't hire from a function centre.
Lights and sound operated by people who know this room intimately — because they built half of it.
